Understand Listing Requirements

What you need before you can list a domain for sale on Deqo.

At Deqo, we're committed to maintaining a secure, transparent, and high-quality marketplace. Before listing your domains, please review the requirements below to ensure compliance and avoid disruptions.

1. You Must Own the Domain

To list a domain on Deqo, you must:

  • Be the legal registrant of the domain and have the ability to manage it through your registrar.

  • Ensure the domain is not involved in a legal dispute, ownership conflict, or third-party claim.

  • Avoid listing domains that infringe on trademarks or other intellectual property rights.

Only domains that belong to your Deqo account can be published. You can add domains to your portfolio manually, by bulk import, or by registering them directly through Deqo's registrar.

2. Ownership Verification

Deqo requires proof of ownership before a domain can be published. This helps protect buyers and prevents fraudulent listings.

  • Domains registered through Deqo's registrar are verified automatically.

  • Domains registered at an external registrar (such as GoDaddy or Namecheap) must be verified via DNS. See Verify Domain Ownership for more details.

BrandBucket Domains

Domains imported through the BrandBucket integration are automatically added to your Deqo portfolio and verified through the integration. No additional ownership verification is required.

3. A Price Must Be Set

Every listing must have at least one of the following configured before publishing:

  • A Buy Now price

  • A minimum acceptable offer

  • A wholesale price or reserve price

Domains without pricing information cannot be published.

4. Removing a Domain

You may remove a domain at any time, except when:

  • It is part of an active transaction (offer, lease, or escrow process).

  • It is involved in a pending dispute.

5. Changes During Offers or Negotiations

If a domain is involved in active negotiations:

  • Do not increase the price or remove sale options.

  • Keep pricing and terms consistent for at least 14 days.

  • Revert accidental changes as quickly as possible.

Violations may result in reduced marketplace visibility or account restrictions.

6. Commitment to Transactions

Once a buyer purchases your domain, you are expected to:

  • Complete the transfer promptly and professionally.

  • Cooperate with reasonable transfer requests.

  • Avoid unnecessary delays or refusal to transfer.

Failure to comply may result in:

  • Account suspension

  • Withheld payouts

  • Removal from future marketplace participation

7. Payout & Transfer Terms

  • Payouts are typically issued within 5 business days after a successful transfer or buyer confirmation.

  • Sellers must select a payout method and are responsible for any associated payout fees.

  • Lease-to-own transactions are paid in installments according to the lease agreement.

8. Keep Listings Accurate

Sellers are responsible for:

  • Keeping contact information up to date.

  • Removing expired or transferred domains promptly.

  • Responding to marketplace warnings or compliance notices.

Non-compliance may result in:

  • Listing suspension or removal

  • Account restrictions or cancellation

  • Payout delays or penalties in cases of fraud, abuse, or off-platform solicitation
